Yello by Yello

Yello by Yello is a compilation album from Swiss electronic duo Yello. It was released on 5 November 2010 via Polydor label.[1] There are two versions of the album:

  • The singles collection 1980–2010 (1 CD and 1 DVD). This remastered album contains 20 tracks plus a new version of the song Vicious Games. It also includes a DVD with 23 videos from 1980–2009.
  • The anthology box set (3 CDs and 1 DVD). This remastered box set contains The Singles Collection 1980–2010 and the two-CD The Anthology for which Dieter Meier and Boris Blank selected their favorite songs. A DVD with 23 videos and a 48-page booklet with photographs and personal commentary by Yello are included.

Some copies of The Singles Collection 1980–2010 have a production error. The song Lost Again (track 16) is missing, while the song Desire appears twice on the disc (tracks 16 and 20).[2]

The Key to Perfection is a promo album by Swiss electronic duo Yello, released on 4 September 2012. It was not released on a label, and was distributed by Volkswagen officials at special events. The record contains additional vocals by Billy Mackenzie (on track 3), Heidi Happy (on track 4), and Malia (on track 7).

Touch Yello is the 12th studio album by Swiss electronic band Yello. The record was released on October 2, 2009 through Polydor Records label.

Yello

Yello is a Swiss electronic duo band consisting of Dieter Meier and Boris Blank.The band is known for their 1985 single "Oh Yeah" which featured in the films Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Secret of My Success, American Pie Presents: The Book of Love, K-9, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, and as the theme song for the character Duffman on The Simpsons.

Their 1988 single "The Race" peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart, and was also featured in the film Nuns on the Run.
