Telemundo Studios, formerly known as Telemondo Television Studios, is a division of NBCUniversal that develops original programming in Spanish.

History

After these agreements, Patricio Wills, former president of Telemundo-RTI, pass to be the person in charge of Telemundo Television Studios, and Marcos Santana, previous CEO of Tepuy International, will become the President of Telemundo International, division that will be in charge to distribute its programming abroad.

Telemundo Television Studios will continue producing telenovelas and other programs for Telemundo and will look for opportunities of production for other chains of Latin America.

The 46th International Emmy Awards took place November 19, 2018 at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City and celebrated excellence in International television.

In addition to the presentation of 11 Emmy statues for programming and performances, two special awards were presented by the International Academy during the evening.

Camelia la Texana, is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by Campanario Entertainment and Argos Comunicación and distributed by United States-based television network Telemundo Studios, Miami. The story is based on the song titled "Contrabando y Traición" by Los Tigres del Norte.

As part of the 2014 season, Telemundo aired Camelia, la Texana from February 25, 2014 to May 22, 2014 weeknights at 10pm/9c, replacing Santa Diabla. As with most of its other telenovelas, the network broadcast English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.

Casanova sin Amor

Casanova Sin Amor (Casanova Without Love) is a Colombian telenovela that was to be produced by the United States-based television network Telemundo and RTI Colombia. The production has been canceled as director Miguel Varoni has left the production to direct another Telemundo Studios Colombia's telenovela, La Diosa Coronada .

The story revolves around Juan Pablo, the owner of a successful television company that searches for a real love.

Corazón valiente

Corazón Valiente (Fearless Heart), originally known as Caídas del Cielo(Falls of Heaven) , is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by United States-based television network Telemundo Studios, Miami, featuring an ensemble cast. Adriana Fonseca, Ximena Duque, José Luis Reséndez and Fabián Ríos starred as the main protagonists, with Aylin Mujica and Manuel Landeta starred as the main antagonists.

Telemundo aired Corazón Valiente weeknights at 9pm/8c from March 6, 2012 to January 7, 2013, replacing Flor Salvaje. On January 8, 2013, La Patrona replaced Corazón Valiente. As with most of its other telenovelas, the network broadcast English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.

Dama y obrero (American TV series)

Dama y obrero (Lit: Lady and Worker / English: Labour of Love) is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by United States-based television network Telemundo Studios, Miami. It is a remake of the Chilean telenovela of the same title produced by TVN in 2012. Ana Layevska and José Luis Reséndez stars as the protagonists, while Fabián Ríos, Felicia Mercado and Sofía Lama stars as the antagonists.

On June 24, 2013, Telemundo broadcast Dama y Obrero, replacing Pasión Prohibida. The last episode was broadcast on October 18, as part of Telemundo's changes in prime-time programming, and because of low ratings. On October 21, 2 hours of Marido en Alquiler have been temporarily broadcast weeknights at 8pm/7c. As with most of its other telenovelas, the network broadcast English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.

El alma herida

El alma herida (English title: The wounded soul) is a 2003 Spanish language telenovela produced by the United States-based television network Telemundo Studios, Miami and Mexican Argos Comunicación. The telenovela is a remake of the Puerto Rican 1986 telenovela La cruz de papel.Itati Cantoral and Gabriel Porras starred as the protagonists, with Rebecca Jones and Alejandro Camacho starred as the adult protagonists, while Rodrigo de la Rosa starred as the main antagonist.

En otra piel

En otra piel (Lit: In Another Skin / English: Part of Me) is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by United States and México-based television network Telemundo Studios, Miami. It is based on the 2005 Telemundo telenovela El Cuerpo del Deseo, which in turn is based on the 1992 RTI Colombia telenovela En Cuerpo Ajeno. María Elisa Camargo and David Chocarro stars as the main protagonists, while Vanessa Villela and Jorge Luis Pila stars as the main antagonists, with the special participation of Laura Flores.As part of the 2014 season, Telemundo is broadcasting En otra piel weeknights at 9pm/8c as of February 18, 2014, replacing La Reina del Sur. As with most of its other telenovelas, the network is broadcasting English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.

En otra piel marks the debut of Flores with Telemundo, and the return of Camargo from Flor Salvaje and Villela from Una Maid en Manhattan. Also part of the cast are Pila and Chocarro after their respective hit telenovelas (La Patrona and El Rostro de la Venganza.)

Flor Salvaje is an American telenovela that premiered on Telemundo on August 2, 2011, and concluded on March 2, 2012. The telenovela is produced by Hugo León Ferrer, and created by Perla Farías based on La novia oscura original by Laura Restrepo.The show is deloveped by RTI Producciones and Telemundo Studios, and distributed by Telemundo Internacional. It stars Mónica Spear as the titular character.

La Doña (2016 TV series)

La Doña (Lit: The Doña / English: Lady Altagracia), is an American-Mexican telenovela written by José Vicente Spataro for Telemundo, based on the work of Venezuelan writer Rómulo Gallegos titled Doña Bárbara, which most recent version, Doña Bárbara, starred Edith González. It is a production of Argos Comunicación and Telemundo Studios distributed by Telemundo Internacional. The series premiered on November 29, 2016. The series tells the story of Altagracia (Aracely Arámbula) a beautiful, elegant, successful woman, recognized in society and owner of an emporium in the construction world. Just as a young girl, she suffered two very strong traumas that marked her and made her the unforgiving "Doña" she is now.

The series features a large ensemble cast, including Aracely Arámbula, David Chocarro, Danna Paola and Rebecca Jones as starring cast.On 9 May 2019, Telemundo confirmed through its upfront for the 2019-20 television season that the series has been renewed for a second season.

La impostora

La impostora (English: The Impostor), is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by United States-based television network Telemundo Studios, Miami. It is based on the Chilean telenovela Cerro Alegre, produced by Canal 13 in 1999. It stars Lisette Morelos, Sebastián Zurita and Christian Bach, together with Manuel Landeta, Begoña Narváez, Mauricio Hénao, Jonathan Islas and Alpha Acosta.As part of the 2014 season, Telemundo is broadcasting La impostora as of 14 January 2014 weeknights at 8pm/7c, replacing Marido en Alquiler. La viuda de Blanco

La Viuda de Blanco (double meaning: Blanco's Widow and The Widow in White) is a 1996 Colombian telenovela hit which starred Osvaldo Ríos, María Helena Doehring, Jorge Enrique Abello, and Yolandita Monge. Its remake, titled the same, premiered on July 24, 2006 on Telemundo. Both versions (the remake including mostly Mexican actors) were produced by Telemundo Studios Miami. The 1996 version was broadcast between 1996 and 2000 in Colombia, Venezuela, Armenia, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Cuba, Spain, Dominican Republic, Poland, Indonesia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Ukraine, Philippines, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.

Los miserables (2014 TV series)

Los miserables (English: Les Misérables), is a telenovela that premiered on Telemundo on September 30, 2014, and concluded on March 24, 2015. The telenovela is produced by Argos Comunicación and Telemundo Studios, distributed by Telemundo Internacional and created by the Venezuelan author Valentina Párraga, based on the French novel Les Misérables written by Victor Hugo.It stars Aracely Arámbula as Lucía Durán — A woman pursued by law but innocent, who has to resist, fight and hide tenaciously and cunningly, until she demonstrates her integrity, with Erik Hayser, Aylín Mújica, Gabriel Porras and Marco Treviño, along to Aarón Díaz as the special guest.

RTI Producciones

R.T.I. Colombia, also known as Radio Televisión Interamericana (Inter-American Radio and Television), is a Colombian television production company and former programadora. It aired 14.5 hours per week of programming in 1993.

In the 1990s, as a programadora, it was a member of OTI Colombia, a coalition that included Producciones PUNCH, Producciones JES, RCN Television, Caracol Televisión and Datos y Mensajes.Many of its series are co-produced with Telemundo in the United States, including Zorro and Sin Vergüenza. In Colombia, they air on Caracol TV and Citytv Bogotá. R.T.I. had some programming spaces on the state-owned Canal Uno until 2008, when it returned them in order to bid with El Tiempo and Grupo Planeta for the third private national channel licence.

Starting from 2007, the Telemundo-R.T.I. studio in Miami is known as Telemundo Television Studios.

Tierra de reyes

Tierra de reyes (English: Land of Honor), is an American telenovela premiered on Telemundo on December 2, 2014, and concluded on July 27, 2015. The telenovela is created by the Venezuelan author Rossana Negrín, based on the Colombian-American drama written by Julio Jiménez, entitled Pasión de Gavilanes. Produced by Telemundo Studios, and distributed by Telemundo Internacional.

It stars Aarón Díaz, Gonzalo García Vivanco and Christian de la Campa as the Gallardos brothers, and Ana Lorena Sánchez, Kimberly Dos Ramos and Scarlet Gruber as the Del Juncos sisters, along to Sonya Smith and Fabián Ríos.
