Kazhakoottam railway station

Kazhakoottam Railway Station (Code:KZK) is a railway station (NSG 5 Category) in the Indian city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.[1] The station falls under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division of the Southern Railway Zone of Indian Railways.

Provision of High Resolution LED based integrated passenger information System were introduced at Thiruvananthapuram central, Kollam, Ernakulam Jn and Thrissur through advertisement mode, and is being extended to Kazhakkoottam. A minor catering stall has started working here recently.

Bio 360 Life Sciences Park

Bio 360 Life Sciences Park is a Biotechnology and Life Sciences park situated in the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Established in 2013 by the Government of Kerala, the Phase I of the park is spread over 75 acres (30 ha). An additional 128.5 acres (52.0 ha) of land is being undertaken by the government of Kerala as the Phase 2 development of the park. The park focusus in, incubation, R&D and manufacturing in the fields of life sciences, biotechnology, nanotechnology. bioinformatics, biomedical devices and pharmaceuticals. Bio 360 is situated along the National Highway 66 at Thonnakkal, 22 kilometres (14 mi) from the Trivandrum International Airport. Other similar industrial parks like Technopark is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) and Technocity is 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from Bio 360.

Central Stadium (Thiruvananthapuram)

Central Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, India. It is mainly used for athletics and football. The stadium also hosts the Independence day parade of Kerala and other government functions. The stadium hosted India's first transgender athletics meet in 2017. The stadium is also one the main venues of annual Onam festival in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Jimmy George Sports Hub, formerly known as the Jimmy George Indoor Stadium, is a stadium in Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. It was constructed in 1987.Promising players in Badminton (Shuttle) undergo regular practice in this stadium under a coach from Sports Authority of India. Kochuveli railway station

Kochuveli railway station also known as Thiruvananthapuram North, is a satellite passenger rail terminal of Thiruvananthapuram city in the Indian state of Kerala. It is being developed to ease congestion at Trivandrum Central station. The Kochuveli railway station is located towards the north of the city, approximately at a distance of 8 kilometers from Trivandrum city. The Kochuveli railway station is located near to NH47 Trivandrum City bypass.The Railway Station was opened in 2005. The station has two entrances Eastern Side and Western Side. The Eastern side has the satellite terminal from where the trains originating from Kochuveli operates and the old railway station is situated on the western side. Currently 16 long distance express trains and 1 passenger train operates from this station. Kochuveli railway station connects passengers to important cities of India.

Many trains now functioning from Trivandrum Central including the Sabari Express will commence the journey from Kochuveli railway station once the station is completely developed. Lulu Mall, Thiruvananthapuram

LuLu Mall is a shopping mall under construction in Thiruvananthapuram in the state of Kerala, India. The mall is owned and managed by LuLu Group International and is developed by Sobha Limited. Upon completion, it would be one of the largest malls in the country with the complex occupying a land area of 19 acres (7.7 ha) with a total built up area of 232,400 square metres (2,502,000 sq ft) including the mall, convention center and hotel. The Mall is designed by the London based architectural firm, Design International.

Radio DC

Radio DC is a non-commercial community radio administered by the DC School of Management and Technology (DCSMAT). It is the first private FM (frequency modulated) community radio station in Kerala. It is located in KINFRA Film and Video Park, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. It broadcasts at 90.4 MHz.

All the operations in the radio station are managed by the students of DCSMAT with support from the faculty.

Soorya Festival

The Soorya Festival is one of the world's largest arts festival, which in 2017 spans 111 days and featured 2,000 artists from across India. It is the biggest art and cultural event in Kerala. Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station

Thiruvananthapuram Central is the main railway station in the city of Thiruvananthapuram (formerly Trivandrum) in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the largest railway station in Kerala in terms of passenger movement and revenue and an important rail hub in Southern Railway. It is one of profitable stations under Southern Railway. The building of the railway station is one of the landmarks of Thiruvananthapuram. Thiruvananthapuram Central is also a terminating point for the proposed Chennai - Bengaluru - Thiruvananthapuram High Speed Rail (HSR) corridor and the starting point of proposed Thiruvananthapuram - Mangalore High Speed Rail corridor. The railway station is located opposite to Central Bus Station Thiruvananthapuram at Thampanoor.

A second satellite station was opened in 2005 at Kochuveli called the Kochuveli Railway Station, near the International Airport. Thiruvananthapuram is the first major city from south along the longest train routes in India, the Kanyakumari-Thiruvananthapuram -Dibrugarh Vivek Express route and the Kanyakumari-Thiruvananthapuram-Jammu Tawi-SVDK Himsagar Express route.

A second terminal (south Terminal) was opened in 2004 to handle passenger traffic and later a West Terminal in 2007. To reduce traffic, the Central Railway Station has 18 railway tracks. Number of long service trains are starts/ends in Thiruvananthapuram Central.

Thiruvananthapuram Pettah is a railway station for inter-city trains, located at Thiruvananthapuram, in the Indian state of Kerala. The station is operated by the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. The station is only 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) from the Thiruvananthapuram Central station. Most incoming trains from Kollam direction (from north) halt here for the convenience of passengers in the general area and to reduce the crowd at Thiruvananthapuram Central. But very few outgoing trains to north have a halt at Pettah. It has good connectivity to the city bus services and also an auto and taxi stand. This is the nearest railway station to the Trivandrum International Airport International Terminal.
