Characters of Final Fantasy VIII

Final Fantasy VIII, a 1999 best-selling role-playing video game by Squaresoft, features an elite group of mercenaries called "SeeD", as well as soldiers, rebels, and political leaders of various nations and cities. Thirteen weeks after its release, Final Fantasy VIII had earned more than US$50 million in sales, making it the fastest selling Final Fantasy title at the time. The game has shipped 8.15 million units worldwide as of March 2003. Additionally, Final Fantasy VIII was voted the 22nd-best game of all time by readers of the Japanese magazine Famitsu in 2006. The game's characters were created by Tetsuya Nomura, and are the first in the series to be realistically proportioned in all aspects of the game. This graphical shift, as well as the cast itself, has received generally positive reviews from gaming magazines and websites.The six main playable characters in Final Fantasy VIII are Squall Leonhart, a loner who avoids vulnerability by focusing on his duty; Rinoa Heartilly, an outspoken and passionate young woman who follows her heart; Quistis Trepe, an instructor with a serious yet patient attitude; Zell Dincht, an energetic martial artist with a fondness for hot dogs; Selphie Tilmitt, a cheerful girl who loves trains and flies the airship Ragnarok; and Irvine Kinneas, a marksman and womanizer who uses his charm to mask his insecurities. Dewi Sukarno (デヴィ・スカルノ, Devi Sukaruno), complete name Ratna Sari Dewi Sukarno (ラトナ・サリ・デヴィ・スカルノ, Ratona Sari Devi Sukaruno), born Naoko Nemoto (根本 七保子, Nemoto Naoko, born February 6, 1940), widely known in Japan as Dewi Fujin (デヴィ夫人, Lady Dewi, Madame Dewi) is a Japanese businesswoman, socialite, television personality, and philanthropist. She was one of the wives of the first President of Indonesia, Sukarno.

Fujin (headgear)

Fujin or bokgeon (hanja: 幅巾; Hangul: 복건) is a type of guanmao (冠帽), a Chinese men’s traditional headgear made from a black fabric. It was usually worn with Shenyi in the Ming Dynasty and Joseon period of Korea. Though it was initially worn only during important events, it was worn by most men of high-standing by the Joseon period. Members of the scholar-official class decorated their fujin with gold leaf.

Fujin Road station

Fujin Road (simplified Chinese: 富锦路; traditional Chinese: 富錦路; pinyin: Fùjǐn Lù) is a station and the northern terminus of the Shanghai Metro Line 1. It is located at the intersection of Wenchuan Highway and Yangzong Road in Baoshan District. This station has been the northern terminus of line 1 since the northern extension from Gongfu Xincun on 29 December 2007.


Fūjin (風神) or Futen is the Japanese god of the wind and one of the eldest Shinto gods.

He is portrayed as a terrifying wizard-like demon, resembling a red headed green-skinned humanoid wearing a leopard skin, carrying a large bag of winds on his shoulders.

Line 1 (Shanghai Metro)

This is a list of playable characters from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series and the games in which they appear. The series takes place in a fictional universe composed of six realms, which were created by the Elder Gods. The Elder Gods created a fighting tournament called Mortal Kombat to reduce the wars between the realms. The first Mortal Kombat game introduces a tournament in which Earthrealm can be destroyed if it loses once again.

The Earthrealm warriors manage to defeat the champion Goro and tournament host Shang Tsung, but this leads Tsung to search for other ways to destroy Earthrealm. Since then, every game features a new mortal who wishes to conquer the realms, therefore violating the rules of Mortal Kombat. By Mortal Kombat: Deception, most of the main characters had been killed by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi (neither of whom were playable in the game), but by Mortal Kombat: Armageddon all of them return.

Torneo Gran Alternativa (2016)

The Torneo Gran Alternativa (2016) was a professional wrestling tournament event produced by the Mexican wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLLl; Spanish "World Wrestling Council") that began on March 22, 2016 and ran over the course of three of CMLL's Tuesday night shows in Arena México through April 5. The Torneo Gran Alternativa (Great alternative tournament) concept sees a Novato or rookie team up with an experienced wrestler for a tag team tournament. The rookie winner is often elevated up the ranks of CMLL as a result of winning the tournament, but there is no specific "prize" for winning the tournament beyond a symbolic trophy.

After not holding a Gran Alternativa in 2015 CMLL brough the concept back in 2016, this time holding the first block of the tournament on their Tuesday show in Arena México as opposed to previous years where they held it on their Friday night Super Viernes shows. The 2016 tournament was the 21st Gran Alternativa tournament that CMLL has held since its inception in 1994 and was won by Esfinge and Volador Jr. as they defeated Fujin and Rey Escorpión in the finals.

Windy Tales (風人物語, Fūjin Monogatari) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Production I.G, about a group of people who can control the wind. The series premiered from September 11, 2004 to February 26, 2005 across Japan on the anime television network, Animax, who also later aired the series across its respective networks worldwide, including East Asia, Southeast Asia, and other regions. Sentai Filmworks licensed the series and released it with English subtitles in July 2015.It is distinguished from other Production I.G series because of its draft-like animation style mixed with 3D elements.

Yohei Komatsu

Yohei Komatsu (小松 洋平, Komatsu Yōhei) (born June 25, 1988) is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he currently performs under the ring name Yoh (stylized in all capital letters). As part of the tag team Roppongi 3K, he and Sho are former 2 times IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. He has previously also worked for the American Ring of Honor (ROH) and Mexican Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), where he was known under the ring name Fujin (風神, Fūjin), named after the Japanese God of the wind, and was part of La Ola Amarilla ("the Yellow Wave") alongside Okumura, Kamaitachi and Raijin.
