Esport3 (Catalan pronunciation: [əsˈpɔɾt ˈtɾɛs]) is a TV channel of Televisió de Catalunya dedicated to sports programming.

Sports programming includes transmissions and sporting events, especially during prime-time on Mondays to Fridays and all weekend. The channel completes its commitment to programs that focus on the lifestyle sports, promoting emerging talents such as being in shape, health, adventure, the outdoors and extreme sports. Every Monday to Thursday nights, a sports talk-show Efectivament is being broadcast and it is hosted by Lluís Canut.

Other important shows are Tot L'esport, Temps d'aventura, NBA.cat, Futbol Cat and Gol a Gol.

2008–09 CERH European League

The 2008–09 CERH European League was the 44th edition of the CERH European League organized by CERH. Its Final Eight was held in May 2009 in Bassano del Grappa, Italy.

2011–12 CE Sabadell FC season

The 2011–12 Spanish football season was the first for CE Sabadell in the second level since 1993, when the team was relegated for not paying its players. After a stunning season in Segunda División B, the team promoted via play-off and was runner-up in the overall season, being surpassed only by Real Murcia (also promoted), who won on penalties in the play-off final matches (agg. 1–1 a.e.t, 8–9 p.s.o). During early June, Joan Soteras confirmed that the team manager, Lluís Carreras renewed for this season after the rumors emerged in April that linked him with FC Barcelona B.

Sabadell finished the season in 19th place, which would normally have resulted in an immediate return to Segunda B. However, they were reprieved from relegation when Villarreal were relegated from La Liga at the end of the season. Villarreal's relegation from La Liga meant that their reserve side, Villarreal B, would automatically drop to Segunda B.

2013 Copa ASOBAL

The 2013 Copa ASOBAL was the 24th edition of the Copa ASOBAL. It took place in the Palau Blaugrana, in Barcelona, Catalonia, on 21 & 22 December 2013. The tournament was hosted by FC Barcelona and Barcelona city council, being the second time Barcelona hosts Copa ASOBAL.

FC Barcelona won its overall ninth title, third in a row and qualified for 2014–15 EHF Champions League.

2013 Segunda División play-offs

The 2013 Segunda División play-offs took place in June 2013. The Segunda División promotion phase (known as Promoción de ascenso) was the second phase of 2012–13 Segunda División and was to determine the third team which promoted to 2013–14 La Liga. Teams placed between third and sixth position (excluding reserve teams) took part in the promotion play-offs.

Regulations were the same that previous season: the fifth placed faced the fourth, while the sixth positioned team faced the third. In case of an eliminatory competition tie, extra time would be played but there would not be a penalty shoot-out; the winner would be the best positioned team. The first leg of the semi-finals were played on 12 June, and the second leg on 15 June at home of the best positioned team. The final was also be two-legged, with the first leg on 19 June and the second leg on 22 June, with the best positioned team also playing at home the second leg. Almería and Girona played the final phase where Almería was winner and promoted to La Liga after two years of absence. Alcorcón and Las Palmas were eliminated in semi-finals.

CE Lleida Llista Blava

Club Esportiu Lleida Llista Blava, also known as ICG Software Lleida for sponsorship reasons, is a Spanish rink hockey club based in Lleida, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Founded in 1951, the club currently plays in the OK Liga, holding its home games at the Pavelló Onze de Setembre, with capacity of 2,000 seats.

CN Mataró

Centre Natació Mataró, also known is a Catalan sports club from Mataró, Barcelona created in 1932. It is active in swimming, water polo, table tennis and triathlon. The men's and women's water polo teams play in the División de Honor Masculina and the División de Honor Femenina respectively. The male team played LEN competitions for the first time in the 2003–04 LEN Trophy, while the female team made its debut in the 2009–10 LEN Trophy. Copa de la Reina de Hockey Patines

The Copa de S.M. la Reina de Hockey Patines is an annual cup competition for Spanish women's rink hockey teams organized by the Spanish Skating Federation. First held in 2006, it is currently contested in spring by the top four team's in the OK Liga's table. CP Voltregà is the cup's most successful club with 6 titles, Biesca Gijón have 3 titles, while CP Vilanova and Cerdanyola CH have won one title each.

Copa del Rey de Hockey Patines

The Copa del Rey de Hockey Patines is an annual Spanish rink hockey competition which is contested by eight teams. It held every year at a neutral venue. The first eight teams in standings just to half-season take part in Copa del Rey. The Copa del Rey's winners play in the next edition of CERS Cup.

Digital terrestrial television in Andorra

Euro Hockey League

The Euro Hockey League is an annual men's field hockey cup competition organised by the EHF for the very top hockey clubs in Europe. The competition was launched at the start of the 2007-08 hockey season, when it merged and replaced the men's EuroHockey Club Champions Cup (the champions competition) and European Cup II (the Cup Winners' Cup). The Golden Cup is one Roller Hockey tournament disputed all years in the city of Blanes, Catalonia. The first edition was in 2004.

OK Liga

The OK Liga is the Spanish rink hockey league. Since 2008 it includes also a women's league.

TV3CAT

TV3 CAT was, until 29 May 2009, named Televisió de Catalunya Internacional. It was the international channel of Catalonia, Televisió de Catalunya. It is part of Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA). That channel was beaming to Europe through Astra satellite and America through Hispasat satellite. TV3CAT belonged to a group of channels where it was found programs from TV3, El 33, Canal Super3, Esport3 and 3/24.

It started to beam, Sunday 10 of September 1995. Since 1 May 2012, it stopped broadcasting on satellite television due to political financial cuts. The station claims it will be continue broadcasting via the internet and through cable and ADSL in Spain.

Ultra Pirineu

The Ultra Pirineu is an international skyrunning competition held for the first time in 2014. It runs every year in Bagà (Spain) in September. The race is valid for the Skyrunner World Series.
