2016 Samarkand Challenger – Doubles

Sergey Betov and Mikhail Elgin were the defending champions but lost to Hsieh Cheng-peng and Yang Tsung-hua in the semifinals.

Denis Matsukevich and Andrei Vasilevski won the title after defeating Hsieh Cheng-peng and Yang Tsung-hua 6–4, 5–7, [10–5] in the final.

Teymuraz Gabashvili was the defending champion, but chose not to defend his title.

Karen Khachanov won the title after defeating Rubén Ramírez Hidalgo 6–1, 6–7(6–8), 6–1 in the final.

The 2017 Samarkand Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on clay courts. It was the 21st edition of the tournament which was part of the 2017 ATP Challenger Tour. It took place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan between 15 and 20 May 2017.

2017 Samarkand Challenger – Doubles

Denis Matsukevich and Andrei Vasilevski were the defending champions but chose to defend their title with different partners. Matsukevich partnered Riccardo Ghedin but lost in the quarterfinals to Laurynas Grigelis and Zdeněk Kolář. Vasilevski partnered Hans Podlipnik-Castillo but lost in the semifinals to Prajnesh Gunneswaran and Vishnu Vardhan.

Grigelis and Kolář won the title after defeating Gunneswaran and Vardhan 7–6(7–2), 6–3 in the final.

2017 Samarkand Challenger – Singles

Karen Khachanov was the defending champion but chose not to defend his title.
